K’tonton Early Learning Center

In 2002 Congregation Beth El – Ner Tamid proudly partnered with Federation Early Learning Services (FELS), who has been administering high quality early childhood education programs, serving the Jewish and secular communities, for over a century.

The K’tonton ELC, is ranked in the top 3% of Delaware County Centers and is both NAEYC accredited and a Keystone Stars 4 program since 2004. Across the United States, NAEYC accreditation is recognized as an indicator of high-quality education for children. These designations reflect the highest level all of the standards required by these credentialing organizations.

The K’tonton ELC is an intimate and welcoming Center that offers full and part time options for toddlers, and preschoolers and full-time options for infants. Our teachers encourage children to explore, experiment and reach their own conclusions by thinking for themselves. They create an inclusive, nurturing environment where intellectual curiosity is applauded. With a mix of independent and structured activities, the program offers experiences requiring investigation, exploration and discovery, where active and enthusiastic children can develop and refine their skills and knowledge. Our enclosed playground develops healthy bodies and minds.

The curriculum provides an age-appropriate introduction to Jewish culture, traditions, and rituals and celebrates diversity by recognizing and embracing a variety of ethnic backgrounds and traditions. The Rabbi’s visits to our classrooms are an exciting part of the week.

What Parents Are Saying!

My family has had an incredible experience at K’tonton. The curriculum is tops and equips children exceedingly well for kindergarten. The culture is inclusive, and the teachers are patient and loving which creates such a happy and healthy environment for them to thrive.
