SISTERHOOD
Sisterhood is a group of women – mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, grandmothers and individuals – balancing the many diverse demands in the all-too-few hours of each day. We’re a gathering of women with concerns about our environment, our community, our country and our people – all seeking to make the world better than they found it. Sisterhood is a home for strengthening our faith, learning its precepts and establishing a meaningful Jewish lifestyle. It’s a place for the special bonding of women who share friendships, who understand and appreciate each other and the work of their hands, minds and spirits. Sisterhood is the heart of Beth El – Ner Tamid, filled with love, warmth, courage and strength. It’s the foundation of our synagogue through its social action programs, community service and Mitzvah projects. Sisterhood membership is free and we encourage all women to join us and build lifelong friendships within our synagogue family.
